Sean M. Wiswesser

Sean M. Wiswesser, a U.S. national, is a professional in national security and intelligence analysis. He resides in the United States. He is married and is raising two underage sons. As per the biography posted on the U.S. Naval Institute website, Sean M. Wiswesser possesses close to thirty years of experience within national security, foreign service and national defense frameworks.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in “Russian Language and Literature; History” earned from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 1992–1996. He was a fellow of the Morehead-Cain Scholar program at said university. He also holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Military Studies obtained from the USAF Air War College, 2022–2023.

Sean’s professional career involves employment in public and defense sector organizations. He started his career as an analyst at the U.S. Intelligence Community, 1996–1998. In 1998–2004, he worked for the U.S. Department of State.
