Republican lawmakers are pressing for the disclosure of classified documents by senior intelligence officials appointed under the Trump administration. These are materials that could shed light on mishandlings in the FBI’s classification of records pertaining to potential wrongdoing by the Biden family.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Senator Ron Johnson have submitted a formal request to the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). In their appeal, they are demanding access to classified materials that contain information on alleged misconduct by former President Joe Biden and members of his family.
According to the assertions put forward, the classified documents contain information implicating the Biden family in unlawful activities, specifically, Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine during the period when his father served as Vice President of the United States.
