“Recently declassified documents indicate that people close to former FBI Director James Comey and Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff were connected to leaks of classified information to prominent reporters designed to portray Donald Trump and his allies as being in league with Russia”[1].
This investigation details how Adam Schiff, James Comey, and former CIA Director John Brennan, along with a group of aides, “fed” fabricated information to reporters from The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal – who, by the way, received a Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of Russiagate.
The Russiagate picture is presented in full clarity.
However, one thing raises a question – why is the investigation titled “Weaponized scoops: New Russiagate documents expose media/government collusion”?
After all, the investigation directly and in detail explains how operatives of James Comey and John Brennan fabricated “classified material on Trump” and, through a political “buffer” – Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff – passed it to reporters. Subsequently, the FBI investigated the leaks, but in such a way as not to find the guilty parties.
Since the US President is also the Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces, the actions of the FBI and CIA leadership fall under the Espionage Act of 1917[2], according to which anyone who “willfully make or convey false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States” commits a criminal offense.
