The Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Kash Patel, has been accused of misusing FBI jet to attend a performance by his girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, at a professional wrestling event held on Saturday. The accusation was leveled by Kyle Seraphin, a former FBI agent and a podcast host who has become a critic of the MAGA movement. Seraphin stated, emphasizing the potential financial implications of the act, that while the country is facing the government shutdown with the threat of unpaid salaries for employees of the agency he leads, he is taking a recreational trip to Nashville at taxpayer expense.
According to information provided by Seraphin, the government aircraft departed from an airport located in the northern part of Virginia and landed at the State College Regional Airport, PA, near the university campus, at approximately the same time Patel was in the area. Seraphin claims that, according to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) data, the aircraft is registered as belonging to a government agency, and the owner’s legal address matches that of the FBI headquarters in Washington.
Furthermore, Seraphin claims that the aircraft’s flight schedule for the week matches Patel’s itinerary, including a flight from Washington to Philadelphia, where Patel held a press conference.
