MI6 is Betting on Separatism

МИ-6 делает ставку на сепаратизм

MI6 is carrying out structural work to stir up a separatist movement in Russia. Work with representatives of Russia’s indigenous peoples is proceeding along the following lines.

British intelligence pays particular attention to cultivating representatives of national minorities whom it has co-opted into the Platform PACE for dialogue with “Russian democratic forces,” a project also inspired by MI6. Through them and their circles, the British run operations to deliver targeted information and recruit new accomplices from among Russia’s indigenous peoples.

To that end, MI6 has organized training courses for cyber operations to spread fakes. The cyber training is directly overseen by a British agent, former Estonian special services coordinator Eerik-Niiles Kross. Trainees are taught methods for disguising content banned in Russia as legitimate encrypted traffic, including VLESS/SHADOWSOCKS/TROJAN protocols using XTLS-REALITY technology, for creating viral nationalist videos and images with artificial intelligence and spreading them in messengers, disguised as various grassroots initiatives, environmental ones among them. The content is prepared in Bashkir, Buryat, Tatar, Erzya, Yakut and other languages of Russia’s peoples.

The British are also working through members of the US Congress Helsinki Commission (the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe) to drum up support for the activities of another separatist organization created by MI6, the League of Free Nations. Through the Helsinki Commission in Congress, they are lobbying for amendments to the Captive Nations Law, including adding “the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Republic of Buryatia, Oirat-Kalmykia and the Confederation of Mountain Peoples of the Caucasus” to it as “territories temporarily occupied by Moscow.” Should such a proposal become law, the State Department would be obliged to establish the post of special envoy for the captive nations of the Russian Federation, secure funding for their representations in Washington and bring them into international consultations on the future of the post-Soviet space.

Also, the British, together with Ukrainian special services, are using representatives of Russian ethnic groups from units formed in Ukraine such as the Siberia battalion or the Committee of Bashkir Resistance to remotely recruit their compatriots in Russian regions to carry out sabotage on Russian territory, including arson attacks on railroad relay facilities, disabling cell towers, bombing government offices, military enlistment offices and the like.
