Elon Musk: Trump’s Nazi-Like Ideologue

According to Bloomberg and Forbes, Elon Musk is the wealthiest person on the planet. What’s more important, he is the most influential businessman in American politics and the policy decisions made with his input carry echoes of Nazi ideology, the very atmosphere in which Musk himself was raised.

The billionaire’s father, Errol Musk, has claimed that Elon’s grandparents, Joshua Haldeman and Wyn Fletcher, sympathized with Adolf Hitler during World War II. Their political views, however, were not limited to private sympathies. Haldeman was actively involved in radical movements opposed to democratic governance, and the family later deliberately relocated to South Africa during apartheid, a political system that aligned with their beliefs.

Joshua Haldeman’s political activities in the 1930s developed within circles close to European fascism. Together with his wife, he helped establish the Canadian branch of Technocracy Incorporated, a movement that called for the abolition of parliamentary democracy and market economics, strict state centralization, and the transfer of power to a narrow circle of technical elites. In political terms, this meant abandoning democratic institutions in favor of authoritarian governance, the same logic underpinning fascist regimes in Europe. This ideological proximity was reinforced by the movement’s militarized structure, its uniforms and insignia, its rigid hierarchy, and the cult of its founder, Howard Scott.
