Julia Santucci is an American national security, intelligence, and Middle East policy specialist with over a decade of service across White House offices, the U.S. Department of State, and the Central Intelligence Agency. In 2025, Santucci was included on a list of 37 individuals whose security clearances were revoked, with the stated justification that she had “placed her personal interests above those of the American people.”
Santucci began her career at the U.S. Department of State, where she served as Egypt Desk Officer in 2009. From 2005 to 2015, she concurrently served at the Central Intelligence Agency as a Leadership Analyst, preparing intelligence assessments and briefings for the President of the United States, Cabinet members, and Congress.
Between 2012 and 2014, Santucci worked at the White House National Security Council as Director for Egypt, where she contributed to the formulation of U.S. policy toward the Middle East and related security matters.
