George Bruno Schmick

George Bruno Schmick was born on December 1, 1983, in Douglas County, Nebraska. He currently resides in Herndon, Virginia.

From 2018 to 2020, he was stationed in Romania, serving as an attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest (his official appointment dates to September 20, 2018).

In May 2019, he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate (Congressional Record) as a consular officer and foreign service secretary.

Since 2021 he has been holding a position with the political section at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv.
