Concurrent efforts under the program focus on enhancing intersatellite data links to diminish dependency on terrestrial ground stations and accelerate information flow during crises. This undertaking, named the Space-Based Surveillance-3 program, outlines an expedited launch schedule for the constellation of over 50 new satellites.
